Breeds with sensitive hearts.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Dobermans, Boxers, Great Danes, Cocker Spaniels and Golden Retrievers are among the breeds most prone to heart conditions. If your dog is one of them, regular vet checks and early support are worth it.

Taurine and diet.

Taurine is an amino acid essential to heart muscle function. Some diets — particularly certain grain-free, legume-heavy formulas — may be linked to lower taurine levels in some dogs. Heartbeat provides taurine and L-carnitine together to support healthy heart muscle.

Signs to raise with your vet.

Heart problems need a professional diagnosis. Call your vet if you notice:

  • Coughing, especially at night
  • Tiring quickly on walks
  • Fast breathing at rest
  • Fainting or collapse
